Produced in collaboration with The Boston Consulting Group, the report titled "Pulse of the Fashion Industry" predicts that garment consumption will by 63 percent to 102 million tons by 2030 and that strains on natural resources will only get worse in the future. However, the report also outlines ways companies can improve their footprint. It will be formally presented at the first day of the Copenhagen Fashion Summit , which starts tomorrow.

Shopping mall in Colombia rolls out breastfeeding mannequins. Previously criticized for reflecting unrealistic body types , fashion-store mannequins are now all the more life-like thanks to a series of them in Colombia's largest shopping mall that shows the dummies breastfeeding. Debuting in Bogotá's Centro Mayor retail complex last month , the faux-lactating models are part of a campaign by Amigos de la Lactancia (Friends of Breastfeeding) to counter the stigma of public breastfeeding in that Latin American country, where just under half of newborns are naturally nursed.
